Common Goal
Aegean Living Lab connects research organisations, public authorities, businesses and local communities to co-design and demonstrate practical solutions for water, food systems, climate resilience and circular innovation.
Our approach combines societal co-creation, innovation and sustainability through collaborative actions that fully integrate Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH).
Our work focuses on Nature based Solutions, climate resilience, circular economy and social innovation, connecting knowledge with real-world needs and expectations.
Our Living Lab emerged from a collaborative initiative developed in the Aegean region within the framework of the PRIMA project Mara-Mediterra. Building on this foundation, the AEGEAN Living Lab was formally established under the EU Soil Mission through the Horizon Europe project GOV4ALL, bringing together regional actors to co-create practical and scalable solutions for soil health, environmental stewardship, and rural regeneration across the Mediterranean.
We bridge knowledge, people and places to co-create practical solutions for a more sustainable, resilient and inclusive Aegean.
A thriving Aegean where local communities, nature and innovation advance together, creating lasting value for current and future generations.
